New area added to The Polka Dot Monkeys for Custom bbk!

I am really excited about adding a new area to The Polka Dot Monkeys http://www.thepolkadotmonkeys.com ! The area is called "custom beaucoup baby & kids". In this area I have all my blank clothing used to make one of a kind personalized appliqued clothing for infants and children.

What is so exciting about this, is you can easily access products I use, without me emailing back and forth. You choose the item, the color, give me a brief description about "theme" for an applique and Viola, you are done! I have also tried to make it easy for those that feel they do not want to design by adding an email link on the product's page of interest. This allows you to contact me almost instantly and we can work out the details. Or if you know what you want and the colors you would like, in the "Special notes" box you can leave your phone number or email saying "I need a little help" and I can get with you and we can design together! Anyway you look at it, you will have fun designing something extra special for a near and dear one.

Now you wonder, how do I know what to charge?  An easy question to answer: I know what my pricing is for my onesies, tees, tops with an applique and monograms already, I have a set pricing. I also know what my pricing is for "add ons" such as, ruffles, extra monograms and appliques. Want another monogram on the back? Just check the box and the price is included. I am notified immediately when a customer places an order and I will contact you as quickly as I can to verify your choices. If you are a customer that cannot even think of anything you would like, that is where emailing directly from the page will help. I can walk you through the process of design, you find the product you would like to embellish, pay and your product is in production with in the next day or two!

Also, please do not be afraid of my 2 week special delivery time, usually you will receive your item before that. I allow that time, just in case I am super busy or hit a snag. Now I have to admit. I really do not like to stock colors! I do however, keep whites year round. Therefore I usually have to order a colored piece of clothing to applique, so probably will take the full 2 weeks.

It's Almost December!!!

What a great few weeks! Thanks to
Greg and Em, the family got to gather in Beaver Creek in a beautiful home perched up on a mountain for Thanksgiving. Unfortunately, I got sick (caught what the grandkids had) and was pretty much a party pooper. I have had the opportunity to be able to stay in Denver though, and spend some quality time with my sweetie! Yay! I am also getting able to catch up on things, like my blog….posting pictures while he works! We were so fortunate to have a little snow while up here last week, the kids had a blast snow skiing! Bub and I had snow inDenver last night; and as of now…it is all but melted.

I have started a line called Super Kid “t”s, instead of your little one following some Super Heroes…..they can be their own SUPER KID-themselves! They have the Super emblem with their name monogrammed….super cute for a super kid! I can applique any type of fabric for the emblem. I have been using camo corduroy for the boys and zebra corduroy for the girls….so cute! They are $26.00 and that includes personalization! It is a fact that in today's busy world fewer children are reading for pleasure! What a horrible thing....I could not imagine my life without that make believe world. With all of the "high tech" worldly things competing, reading seems to have lost its way.  We need to actively engage our children in an exciting and joyful way so they can "come alive" in the story.
