It's Almost December!!!

What a great few weeks! Thanks to
Greg and Em, the family got to gather in Beaver Creek in a beautiful home perched up on a mountain for Thanksgiving. Unfortunately, I got sick (caught what the grandkids had) and was pretty much a party pooper. I have had the opportunity to be able to stay in Denver though, and spend some quality time with my sweetie! Yay! I am also getting able to catch up on things, like my blog….posting pictures while he works! We were so fortunate to have a little snow while up here last week, the kids had a blast snow skiing! Bub and I had snow inDenver last night; and as of now…it is all but melted.

I have started a line called Super Kid “t”s, instead of your little one following some Super Heroes…..they can be their own SUPER KID-themselves! They have the Super emblem with their name monogrammed….super cute for a super kid! I can applique any type of fabric for the emblem. I have been using camo corduroy for the boys and zebra corduroy for the girls….so cute! They are $26.00 and that includes personalization! It is a fact that in today's busy world fewer children are reading for pleasure! What a horrible thing....I could not imagine my life without that make believe world. With all of the "high tech" worldly things competing, reading seems to have lost its way.  We need to actively engage our children in an exciting and joyful way so they can "come alive" in the story. Getting children excited about reading needs a gimmick these day....voila! The "Storytime "t's" have arrived! What a wonderful way to engage your child in reading and getting them excited about sharing reading time. Spent the last week babysitting the grandbabies....loving every minute. I am so very blessed to be able to spend the time I spend with them. Bub and I really realize the importance of our being involved with them! So many people take children for granted, thinking that they will always be there....but the fact is, they grow up so very quick and before you know it, they are grown. So, we have decided that they come first in our lives and we want to take the time and effort to spend every chance we have with them. As incredibly busy as I have been....I am so glad that I am able to put my life on hold and spend quality precious time with them. I know that I can always catch up and I can always warm up my cold cup of coffee that gets cold when my 6 month old needs me, my 2 yr old needs to show me something very important or my 10 yr old needs help with a project or just wants to talk to me about things that are so very important to her. This is what being a grandparent is all about!
A big shout out to all my "girls" that showed their wares at The Pink Magnolia this last Saturday...WOW what a incredibly talented group of people they are and each and every one of them are so very sweet. Happy 100th Birthday to The Pink Magnolia~Beth and I had a blast!
I am going to get busy this week, hopefully with no interruptions! I need to get some little things made to sell, sell, sell!
I am posting some new pictures of our new little puppy we get early June. We, I, cannot wait! His name will be Luke, meaning "light". While we do not know which one is ours yet....I think they are all adorable!

I have been really working hard between getting The Polka Dot Monkeys back up and running and designing and making my new line of baby clothing. I am very excited about my onesies and coordinating burp cloths! I am especially proud about my craftsmanship and detail. While I make these to order, so you choose your color and styles, I am going to change a little something on each one so that all are individual. These are not mass produced and you will not see your little one coming and going. The onesies and burp cloths sets with applique on front only of onsies are $33.00. Welcome to Beaucoup Baby & Kids! Loving to create and design has led me to start up this little "sideline" of mine. Beaucoup Baby & Kids is a clothing line for discerning babies & children that is full of whimsical magical appliques that can relate to your baby or child’s world full of imagination, color and whimsy fun. All of my line can be personalized to add that little touch of class!
I am a grandmother of three, Ashlyn, Blane & Dane ranging in ages 4 months to 10 years of age. I have had so much fun designing and making things for them over the years. My daughter in-law has encouraged me to take a leap of faith and start this little clothing line. While I have the support of my family and friends this is a little scary for me at my age. My motto, “you are only as old as you allow yourself to feel”…..so here I go.
